The Farm House, Part II
So, now that we've seen the inside of the house, lets talk about our plans for the farmhouse. Our plans have evolved as time has gone on.

The Farm House, Spring 2017
The Farm House
This house started out as a 1953 Redman New Moon Trailer. And I'm learning that it was a pretty nice trailer to have back in the 50's.

So now what?
As soon as we were under contract on the original 16 acres, the sellers generously granted us permission to access the land whenever we wished. So from mid July to mid September we would go out there on weekends and just enjoy the peace and quiet. We would watch the turkeys walk through the fields, pet the neighboring horses and let the boys run around and burn off some energy. Later, after we closed on the property, we dug a pit in the ground, lined it with rocks and would have fires as the sun set.

So We Bought A Farm (Part II)
So We Bought A Farm.
Part II
We closed on our beautiful 16 acres on September 13, 2016. While we were waiting for our closing date to approach we were trying to contact the people who owned the land directly in front of us - the land that our road easement cuts through. There is a specific spot that had been approved for an easement and we wanted to verify that these people were aware of it and there wasn't going to be any issues with them.

So We Bought a Farm
So we bought a farm.
PART ONE.
The hunt for more space and privacy began about 2 years ago. Sept 28th, 2015 to be exact - I just checked the date from the first text message our relator sent me after our phone conversation about wanting more space. But before I get into that, lets take a look back at what led up to this decision.
